These dryers can contain either a Crouzet or an Invensys timer; they are interchangeable, but unfortunately they don't use a unique colour for each wire so you might find it difficult to match things back up.
I just bought a new timer, which came with a wiring diagram, that lists:
Crouzet
-----
B2 = Yellow (Motor)
B4 = Red (Exhaust Thermostat)
T2 = Red (Motor)
T6 = Blue/Blue (PCB/Relay)
(T6 = Blue/White - Relay - Mains on neon - early models)
L (A) = Brown (Terminal Block), White (Relay), Orange (Timer Motor), Brown (Motor)
A2 = Blue (C4)
C4 = Orange (Timer Motor)
C4 = Blue (A2)
C6 = Blue (Full Container Neon)
-----
and:
Invensys
-----
A1 = Brown/White (Terminal Block/Relay)
A3 = Empty
A4 = Brown (Pressure Switch)
A9 = Blue link to B3
A10 = 2 x Blue (Relay)
A11 = Red (Exhaust Thermostat)
B1 = Red (Motor)
B2 = Yellow (Motor)
B3 = Blue link to A9
B4 = Light Blue (Full Container Neon)
N.B. Harness colours may vary from the above
-----
The above is an exact transcription of the diagram - it was relatively easily to swap out the existing Crouzet for the new Invensys based on the above (as I just did it a wire at a time).
It might be harder to work back from a timer+bunch of wires, but hopefully the above will help narrow things down!
