Mend Norlett 5hp rotovator Bought Machine Fine

norlett 5hp rotovator?

bought this machine off an old guy locally.it worked fine for a while but now appears chain has broken.any idea where i can obtain a replacement ?

its a fairly standard chain -- any engineering sales place should supply with a split link (its usually the smallest chain that goes - there are 3 chains in the crankcase all different sizes) but make sure the sprockets are ok otherwise it will cast the chain again. worst bit is undoing the hundreds of small bolts taht secure the gearcase halves and reassemble with hylomar or similar to repair the gasket.
