gear selection problem from cold start?

i have a ford mondeo mk 3 and from a cold start it is very hard to select any gear without having to really push it in to gear. once it is moving it seems fine.

sounds like your clutch isnt clearing properly,is there plenty of fluid in the reservoir?leaks from bottom of bellhousing?it could be the clutch is on its way out also,is the correct oil in the g/box?just some things to have a look at,good luck
