fuse switch to washing machine?

This question is in the Plumbing category - but no matter...

The switch will either be permanently on or permanently off - it can't be half way.

Run the washing machine if you need to from another socket - via an extension lead if necessary.

Either engage an electrician or replace the switch plate yourself taking all necessary safety precautions.
