Mend Ford Radio Fuse Working

Replace radio fuse Ford Fiesta 1999?

The radio in my Ford Fiesta just suddenly stopped working when I adjusted the volume. I thought that I might try replacing the fuse but can't find/get into the internal fuse box. To the right and below the steering column is a small 'cubby hole' and that panel looks like it should come out. However I've tried pulling at it (just short of damaging) and can't get in that way! Can anyone help a lady driver trying not to be too helpless?

I found this very stiff too. you do just have to pull it hard. I need to change my fuse... do you know which one it is? :/
