Citroen C2. Rear wiper randomly comes on whilst driving?

Try removing the shunt fuse (big grey one) in the glove box. Wait 5 minutes and then replace, this will reset the BSI unit which is basically the lump that all the fuses sit in.
The BSI unit controls all the stuff like interior lights, wipers,central locking etc.
If it doesn't work you may have a switching problem or duff BSI unit.

I had exactly the same issue, turned out to need a new comms unit. Front lights also started turning themselves on without warning! Cost £180 + fitting for a recon unit but 9 months in, this has started playing up, trying to get it replaced as it came with 12 month warranty.

If you've tried & failed with the above post you probably need to replace the motor, ebay for about £40, once you remove the cover the motor is held in by three rivets. These will have to be drilled out & replaced. After that it's just a matter of unplugging the old motor & plugging in the replacement.

remove cover from inside boot where wiper is. remove relay and clean up water/corrosion from plug/relay. may be relay itself.
