Do a normal wash cycle with an empty machine but put in a cup of white vinegar, do this on a regular basis and it should get rid of all the build up of scum. Another tip is not to use concentrated fabric conditioner as this can build up scum in your machine. Good luck

Never heard of the make, but try changing your washing powder, also try doing a maintance wash every month or so (to do this put it on the longest hottest wash with no laundry and no derergent)

You could also try washing things like towels at 60 instead of 40, this helps.
