vauxhall astra 1.4 ecotec engine problem starting when warm?

I have a Vauxhall Astra 2002 estate 1.4 petrol
ecotec engine. The problem is the engine starts first
time when cold, but after it reaches normal operating
tempature it becomes difficult to start, some times not
starting at all. However if it is towed it will start immediately.
