where is the thermostat on a beko fridge?

my beko fridge has stopped working the light comes on when you open the door but its not cold inside, perhaps its the thermostat, there is also no noise coming from it
Please can you tell me where the thermostat is on my beko fridge.

some have thermostats and some don't.as you give no model info its hard to help!
Something you can try is,pull the appliance out and look to the left of the compressor (big black thing).Is there a white plastic box with a small round plastic blanking cap in it?.If there is prise the plastic cap off and insert a flat bladed screwdriver and rotate the defrost timer clockwise 3 full revolutions and see if the compressor starts up
