was intermitantly not starting. now wont start atall when puting ignition on you now no longer hear the electric tank pump run for a few secs. does this mean pump is guff or could it be elsewhere ? ie immobiliser ? just had batteries changed in keys to try and fix but no joy. Ps engine turns over as norm when key turned. showed no falts on diagnostics.
If battery is good but starter not turning or lights on dash dont look that smart, then probably a fuse or dodgy wiring between battery and ECU. 406 is know for this

Try looking in the fuel filter bowl if its full of fillings I suspect your high pressure pump is at falt filling the hole system with metal fillings. very very expencive to repair !
