easiest way to fit new lock is to remove the door seal,the way to do this is to remove the thin wire with the spring attached to it,then pull the seal away from the front of machine,place new lock into position,after connecting the three wires,then screw it back in place,then put the door seal back on rim of shell,then put the biggest bit of the plastic lug that has the wire on it and wrap it around the space in door seal,the place the other bit of plastic lug and squeeze it together with the large bit,

you dont if the lock has jammed you need to break it off from inside,easy to do just unplug the machine take the top off looking at the machine from the front,reach down under the timer you will see a brown switch with three wires going to it,this is the lock,judst break it off try not to damage the wires the door should open now,then go buy yourself a new bi-metal door lock,its held on with two screws from the front
