Not for the faint hearted, bit since I did mine so may have overlooked something. Absolutly everything comes out of the case. Top off, weight off, powder tray out, inlet pipework and valves out, front display off, door seal off, front panel off with door, disconnect all wires on drum and motor, lie on it's side and slide drum off guides at bottom and take out where door would be if front panel was fitted with motor still fitted to drum.
With drum now out belt off and drum pulley off. Outer drum splits with ring of screws. Knock inner drum from outer taking care not to damage shaft. Bearings can now with difficulty be driven out of outer drum housing. Clean everything and drive new bearings home. Reassembly is reversal of strip.
When I did mine drum pulley came lose afterwards, despite bolt being tight. I forced a cut down feeler gauge between pulley and shaft to take up the gap and no probs since.
