Baumatic Oven B180SS problem with cooling down?

Firstly, love this website.
My Baumatic Oven stopped heating up, so thanks to this website, I bought a new element, replaced it and now it's fully functioning, BUT when I turn it off, the fan keeps going.

I left it on one day and it kept going for about 2 hours, until I got a bit frightened and turned it off by the mains.

Can you please let me know what it could be? Everything seems to be working OK with the rest of the oven.
