Mend Murray YTH170 Drive Deck Belt

Drive to cutting deck?

I have no drive to the cutting deck of my YTH 170, I have fitted a new belt with no result. I can see the fixing nut on the bottom of the clutch drive rotating but the pulley will not turn.
