how can i make my central heating stay on?

I have a greenstar highflow 440 boiler. the red alarm light is on constantly and i cannot override it When I use the restart button the central heating will run for about 10 mins then cuts out. the hot water is ok.

The red warning light is usually associated with a dirty sensor in the gas ignition system, so that correct combustion is not being recognised. The sensor needs a quick clean if you can get access to it.
