The Karcher runs continualy when switched on and I have no more than normal water pressure from lance. I have checked all filters etc. and wonder if pump is not full of water although I have run water through the machine via the garden hose. Any suggestions would be very welcome.

I have the same problem(I think)
When you start up turn the lance to spray detergent,ie: twist so the water sprays at low pressure then turn back for full pressure. Mine works fine when you do that

I have solved the problem re the question above and will give the answer as it may help others with a similar problem. I telephoned Karcher help line and was told it was probabley an air lock. To resolve, unplug the machine and remove the lance and hose. Connect the mains water hose and let it run through the machine for 5 to 10 mins. I had to do this twice but it solved the problem.
