Mend Aprilia Sonic Plug Cuts Running

aprilia sonic spark plug?

aprilia sonic when ever it rains my ped does not perform as well as it should cuts out when stop (normally stays running) when i set off sounds like its backfireing etc and can only reach 35mph if im lucky any ideas on how to stop the spark plug from getting wet? answers asap please email me on

Hi mate, if you've got a metal type plug cap, bin it & get decent plastic one by NGK or Champion, also ensure the rubber seal is in place between the cap & lead, if not you'll have the same problem when it rains. good luck.

Can't email you as you forgot to add your address, but you could try spraying it with WD40, this may help a bit, or try to put a cover over it, to prevent the water reaching the plug.
