Water Leak on Heatslave boiler?

Worcester Heatslave 20/25 free standing boiler
When heating is switched on pressure rises to in excess of 3 bar and water leaks from the area around the expansion vessel Does this point to the expansion vessel being faulty?

Yes the expansion vessel has gone. Piece of P#*s to change though so dont panic.
