How can I turn the power on for Ferroli Optimac HE 31S?
We had a power issue, the trip switch for the heating was off this morning. After I put the trip back on, the was still no power to the boiler. The is nothing on the biolder display. I've tried holding the on button for 5 secs, but it doesn't work. The Centaur timer displat is working, but the boiler is not responding to it.
Inital check for 220~240v on the boiler terminal strip, then check the on board fuses and replace as necessary. Be aware, if the fuses blow, there is possibly an internal component causing the rcd to trip in the first place.
Best get a gas safe engineer to check it properly.
