Mend Potterton Prima Boiler Heating Cylinder Stat

how can i fix potterton prima?

i have a potterton prima boiler which works fine on ch and on ch/hw but when i put it on hw the boiler trips out after about 2 mins. have put new cylinder stat on and 3 port valve seems to be ok. any ideas please

if this has only just started possibly overheat stat faulty or boiler not modulating
