new brushes fitted hotpoint wm20?

Everything works in the cycle accept the drum does not turn (water in, heats, drains etc). Fitted new brushes to the motor and tried running it with an empty drum. No change - drum still does not turn.

Is the timer not sending a signal to the motor (change the timer) or is the motor faultly (change the motor). Both parts are about the same price, but which to choose???

hi, were your old brushes worn down to the end? have they been arching? did you replace them correctly ? check your motor plug wires for breakages check also motor thermal overload cutout for open circuit.
