how do you time camshaft on on b&s 4hp push mower?

i rebuilt the engine and i dont think i timed it right so how do i time it?

There is a mark on the crank gear and the camshaft gear.
They may be punch marks or scribed lines. They have to be matched up. If it's a ball bearing engine the crank timing mark is on the crank throw.
