Mend Dishlex Dishwasher Cycle Stopping

Dishlex Dishwasher keeps stopping mid cycle -basket is clean of scraps etc?

Dishlex Dishwasher keeps stopping mid cycle depsite the basket (which collects scraps) being clean. We have tried the various diswasher cleaning products which seems to help a little but the cycles still stop.

Forgot to say I feel the motor must be faulty possibly run or start windings short??

My Dishlex Global 500 is doing the same, circulation pump stops and starts and runs very hot.
I guess the thermal cutoff within the motor senses the hotness and turns off power to the motor, the motor cools a bit then continues in this cyclic mode.
It does continue thru to the end of wash but has only had about half the motor on so not really clean!!
