hello how do I input code on a megane?

I have just bought a megane and the battery has been removed I think I have the code on the front of the log book but have no clue how to insert it into the radio
Help would be much appreciated

If its a new megan its much like the clios you do it as follows:

For instance if your code id 5874 the to input the 5 you hit the 1 key 5 times 8 the 2 8 times and so on and so forth once you have the full code it push and hold the 6 key till you hear a bleep noise.
