my peugeot cd player not working?

I have peugeot expert combi it's a black cab i bought it in 2006 its not very old, the cd player won't play a cd, but I can listen to the radio. I have bought and used a cd head cleaner but that didn't work. a new cd player from peugeot cost £400, and that's far to expensive. Can any one plz help, much appreciated thank u.
