Mend Ford Fiesta Encore Resistor

How do I change the heating resistor in a Ford Fiesta Encore 1997?

My air blower in my car only works on speed setting 4. When this last happened (around 4months ago) I was told the heating resistor needed changing because it was defunct. It doesnt sound like a big job so Ill give it a go myself, I just need to know where its located and how to go about changing it. I also need to know where I can get a replacement from. Any help would be great! Thanks

It is on the top right hand side of the area under the glove box(passengers foot area). One you remove the small bit of carpet/insulation you will see the wires going into it (these just plug out) Removing one screw should let the resistor fall out of place and be replaced ! Then jusy plug the wires into the new resistor and replace the screw. Thats it, job done !
