I have no answer ... but the same problem! It has been leaking but now it does not generate any steam! If anyone is collecting these beasties then they can have mine too.

I have the same iron and same problem. Its the thermostat which needs replacing, but its probably a good idea 2 just replace the whole iron as its cheap and crap.
