Mend Renault Clio Key Question Start

Rebault clio key?

This may seem like a silly question, but if i disconnect the battery how do I get the ignition to start? Surely the car won't start? Should I be worried about electrocuting myself?

Yes, it is a silly question. If you disconnect the battery, where do you think the power is going to come from, some little volt fairy. Mind you, you cant be that bright, you bought a Renault.
