how to fix spindle on food processor?

I have a Moulinex multichef. The spindle which drives the blades. grater etc is seized up and doesnt move at all. Ive taken off the back, removed the belt, lubricated it all with WD40, but cant get it to turn at all. It hasnt been used for a while, but stored in a dry place. How can I get the spindle assemby to turn?
