Fault F-01 on a hotpoint wf865 Washing Machine?

On the hotpoint WF865 F-01 is a motor triac short circuit: check the motor and module connections but first disconnect the machine from the mains power supply. Any testing of circuitry should be done with a test meter.
This machine holds an electric current for up to 5 minutes after it has been disconected from the mains so be warned or you could get an electric shock. Do not attempt to short the capacitor out prematurely as this will damage the module
