my ctd40 got too wet, dried it but still not working ?

my ctd40 dryer got wet in the electrics, we dried it out as per the instructions of an engineer (no charge for this) but only worked for 45 mins until it cut the electricity again. the condenser is dry, and the water container is empty. any ideas what i can do next please?
