When i turn on my bathroom sink taps, no water comes out. Why is this?

sorry but are you saying bath taps ar fine and when opened,? run water freely. When you open both hot and cold sink taps.. are you doing this at the same time?
Most like i am reading it wrong ?

Sounds like air lock it's unusual for both taps to fail at same time. Need to connect hose to cold bath tap then other end to basin cold tap. turn on basin cold tap and then bath cold tap it will force wate up through basin cold tap into tank in attic to clear the air. Turn off bath cold tap then see if wate comes out of hose (while still connected to basin tap) if so job done. Use the basin cold to clear the basin hot tap same procedure see if that clears it.
