My Galaxy has the tiptronic gearbox.
It has developed an intermittent fault where it will not change up from third gear. The engine management light is on. Any help would be appreciated
Hello this sounds like it is in default the ecu has picked up a problem so puts the gearbox in limp mode basically third gear only unless shifted manually needs to be plugged in to have the codes read,then the problem fixed.
I have rebuilt roughly about 200 of this type of gearbox.
