I suffered a flat battery on my S reg rover 400 during the cold spell and my immobilser kicked in. Despite using my EKA code still no luck. The only thing that happens is the clock light dims, no clicking just total silence when I turn the key. Any help would be great . Thanks in advance. Lawrence
Just had mobile diagnostic mechanic out. He found there was power to the starter motor when the key was turned, so he reckoned the starter motor/solenoid could be at fault will keep you posted

Unlock the vehicle using the key
Hold the remote control close to the vehicle
Press the remote control padlock or dimpled button 4 times or more in quick succession.
