How can i mend a Hotpoint WM33 Washing Machine (Error E10)?

How do you go about finding he cause of error code E10 (No cold fill)? Could it be due to blocked drainage?

check the fill valve by unpluging the machine & removing the lid change the col valve wires over to the hot valve fit the hot valve wires to the cold valve then put machine to a hot wash and see if it then fills up from cold.
If it dosent then you will need a cold valve fitting.
