Hi , can anyone please help?
I recently had a new door fitted and the contact was built into the frame , the installer just left the wire hanging free (6 core wire) and the tamper light is on the panel.
How do i fit another contact and reset the system so i can use the alarm again?

You need to put the contact back.
You also need to work out what pair is the alarm circuit and the alarm circuit.
Twist one pair together, try red and black and blue and yellow see if the tamper goes out. alternativly open the panel and see what in in the zone for the contact. Just remember there is mains in the panel so if unsure get in someone who can.
