2003 gearbox problem ford transit t 300?

problem with gears 2nd 4th reverse grinding, imported recon gearbox from uk,garage fitted in cyprus ok for about 200 miles then same problem but without the grinding,will go in said gears but no connection or drive taking back to garage next week anything I should know so I dont get ripped off
