i own a p reg rover 400 1.6 petrol, after my batteryu going flat the immobiliser has armed. i have tried changing the batterys but to no avail. unfortunately the car did not come with the emergency key access code, is there any way of getting this or uninstalling the immobiliser thanks steve
you can do one of two things reset the fob key by opening the car door with the key they press the fob close button approx 4 times this should reset the fob, do this every time you change the fob battery. if this does not sort it you can go to a quicko service centre with your passport and proof of ownership of the car they will charge £15 and have the over ride code for you the next day
