Mend Toyota 2001 Avensis Engine Good Bought

Toyota Avensis Check Engine Light/PCMB?

Hi
Does anyone now a good way to reset a check engine light on a 2001 Toyota Avensis. I bought a cheap OBD2 reader but that only seems to turn it off for a couple of days. Some one mentioned resetting the PCMB in the fuse box but I dont know which one it is or whether that would work
