Mine has just suffered a similar fate.....looks like the belt has come off because the bearing has gone....on the beko spares list for this machine there is a rear bearing for £15 and another for £30. Will I have to replace both? Are there 2 or are these variations? Will I need special tools to do it? .....any guidance gratefully received....thanks

A single heavy item might not spin.this is not a fault but the machine protecting itself.try a spin cycle with nothing in.worn motor brushes, loose wiring, pcb fault or a blocked drain pump.any of the above could cause a spinning issue.remove the filter and shine a torch in to the filter housing and check if anything is jammed in the drain pump impeller.press and hold the start button in for 5 seconds and let the machine reset before retesting
