How do I remove old, yellow glue from a china figurine?

acetone will remove old glue, you need to soak it well .it evaporates very quickly ,I used an old dish and kept checking and topping up

Hi Kathy, i have used Automotive paint thinners to remove old glue it works great it is what car body repairers use to mix with there paint. It dose not harm the china at all this is not your normal household thinners but this may also work. I hope this will help.
