Mend Ford T280 Diesel Filter Starting

Transit T280 diesel filter changing?

I have changed my diesel filter on my 2006 T280 Transit, now it wont start, how do I bleed the system.

cdc is right fill the filer first with clean deisel,don't know about your tranny but fitted a Patent filter had the same probs,put the old seal ring on the new filter and hey presto,different thicknes.You are probably drawing in air from a bad joint/connection,if it aint sealed and air tight it wont work,the end.

would remove the filter again and manually fill with diesel and refit
