Mend Vauxhall Signum Shut Switch Working

vauxhall signum boot won't lock?

i have a vauxhall signum and to boot wont lock shut. the tailgate comes down and the micro switch and motor are working fine however the latch wont lock leaving my boot free to pull open. please help!!!
