Mend Kalahari Fire Control Light

Kalahari gas fire malfunction?

My Kalahari remote contol fire will not ignite. The remote control will ignite the pilot light but that extinguishes after about 10 seconds. A gas fitter could not identify the fault but just thinks that it might possibly be a failure of the control board. How can I repair it ? (Batteries in the fire and the remote have been replaced)

We seem to have the very same problem but so far I have had no joy in curing it. A gas fitter tells me that it could be the control panel at fault but I do not want to spend over £100 on that only to find that the problem still exists

Helo i have the same problem as you, did you get your fire fixed. I can ignite the fire manualy and it stays on for about 10 to 15 miniutes then goes out. I can also ignite the fire with the remote but when i try to put the flame up it extinguishes the pilot light. Did you get your problem sorted & can you help me with mine.
