Is my wii broken or not?

My wii got wet on a really rainy day and the next day i checked the wii was off like if it was unplugged, but later i noticed that everything was in the right spot and plugged in properly so i disconected it and reconnected it and it still had the blank color on the wii by the power button. so when i plugged the wire the one with the plug that goes in the outlet. the wii power button just flashed red and turned off again, so everytime i plug in that on wire it would blink red. but im starting to think it's not the wire with the plug i think it's the water that got into the wii system and damaged it there instead. but i was wondering if my wii is broken or not, or do i just need to get a new one of those circle batteries? PLEASE HELP!
