Where can I find parts for a Ritetemp log heater RTL300TQ?
I have a good pilot!
When I turn up, the thermostat dial!
The unit runs good!
When it shuts down it has a click,and pilot shuts off!
Why does the pilot shut off all the time?
Also where can I find parts for this unit?
The pilot light on my unit went out until I cleaned the end that lights with a toothbrush.
I basically turned off the gas, took a toothbrush and brushed the excess "white powder" that accumulated on the pilot area. I also too a small straight pin and carefully cleaned out the pipe opening the gas comes out of.
As crazy as that sounds, it works again. I have to do this every winter before I start the unit again.
Yes, I need to get parts too.......
