Repairing a Conair hair clipper?

In an attempt to use my Conair Hair clippers for the 3rd time, the device stopped working as it had worked in the past. When I switched the clippers on, the blade that moves back and forth (dynamic I suppose) was loose with extreme vibration. Upon closer inspection, the spring that holds the blade in place had come loose from its spot within the clippers.

Unfortunately, I have no schematic to indicate how the spring should be stationed so the blade works properly. I'm not the best puzzle solver since I can't determine how to put the thing back in its proper location within the clippers.

Any idea how the spring should be positioned within the clippers?

This version of the Conair clippers is cordless and has a blade adjustment arm. I've noticed it appears the spring should help keep a good tension on the blade and the adjustment arm when it's used, but it doesn't appear to be doing that, either. I'm sure once the spring is back in its proper space, it will function as designed.
