Mend Nintendo DS Work Working Blue Power

We have replaced the shell on a Nintendo Ds and now it won't work. ?

We replaced a pink shell on a working ds for a blue one. After it was put together we couldn't get it to work. When you press power on green light comes on momentarily, the bottom screen flashes on briefly then it all goes off. Any ideas anyone?

I've had the same issue.
The problem is that the ribbon cable for the upper screens is not properly seated. Remove it and put it back in (carefully)
