problem with my hotpoint wms38 drum making a noise?

my hotpoint wms38 has started to make noice when drum is spinning like a grinding noice can you help

hi im not qualified to answer this but i have had what your discribing with my washing machine which is a hotpoint wmf540 . my washing machine is used alot and many times my husband has had to tighten what i think are the weights , which was clearly visable when you take off the lid . hope that helps
