you need to change the back half of the drum assembly rather than just knock out the old bearings, the back half has been redesigned, i'm assuming this is to cure the problem of the bearings failing after only a few years, straightforward enough repair, power off, top and front panel off, detergent dispenser off and out of the way, control panel and support off and out of the way, screws behind soap drawer, disconnect all hoses and wiring to drum, suspension legs, support springs, concrete weights and then take the drum out of the front of the machine, motor off, split the drum, replace drum seal between the 2 halves fit new back half, might be worth replacing the drum shaft too, refit everything back in the cabinet
